Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, a long-time and trusted provider of business information, has recently launched a free search tool that should help supply chain management and purchasing agents in their assessment of status and performance of members of their tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers.

This search tool allows identification of companies located in the areas affected by the earthquake and tsunami which occurred in Japan on March 11, 2011.  And, as a result, is expected to help their companies in the assessment of their financial and business continuity both from the risk exposure of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami as well as from the ability to follow developments at the Fukushima Daiichi Power Station.  The search tool will provide information on which companies are in the impact zone but cannot provide on-demand detailed reports due to conditions in the region.

Click here  for more details and how to access this search tool within the Dun & Bradstreet’s website.

If applicable, please pass this information along to those risk and supply chain management and planning teams in your organization.
